Magnolia Place: a Model of Social Innovation

Magnolia Place is a community center for an underserved neighborhood just west of Downtown, and headquarters for the Children’s Bureau of Los Angeles. Alex Morales, CEO, collaborated with architect Frank Clementi, AIA of RCH Studios and his team to realize a visionary idea—to build a place where public and private partners join with the Children’s Bureau to provide early childhood education, centralized delivery of county social services as well as medical, legal, and financial services in unprecedented ways. The result: a model of social innovation.
